What's the difference between Smart DNS and a VPN? Traditional VPN clients take your entire Internet bandwidth (yes, including data associated with your Facebook account, Internet banking, dating sites...), encrypt it, and send it through a proxy server which is normally located in the US. Although VPN clients provide a great value for users that want to conceal their identity, they are just **an overkill** for the average home user that only want to access US-based streaming sites. Smart DNS takes a different approach - instead of sending your entire bandwidth through a proxy server, we only proxy the domains needed for online streaming. Your Internet connection speed is unchanged, and videos flow directly from the streamer provider to you - with no 3rd-party server in the middle to interfere with the streaming speed. Why is it free?
